SANTA A~% MUNICIPAL CODE TO C~GE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENTAPPLICATION 475
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 15-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 475 B) AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NS-700
WHEREAS, the Planning Cc~mission has given notice of and
duly ~eld a public hearing on Amendment Application 475, filed by
THOMAS BUVINICH for a change in District classification from the
R-1 District to the C-5 District, and said Co~mission recommended
approval of said reclassification according to Exhibit AA 475 B
which provides for a "B" suffix parking zone for the westerly 35 feet
of the property and for the southerly 15 feet of the property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, T~RREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 1: Beginning at that point where the center line of
Sullivan Street intersects the center line of
McFadden Avenue; thence westerly along the center
line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 129.6
feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of
Sullivan Street for a distance of 132 feet, more
or less; thence easterly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of McFadden Avenue for
a distance of 129.6 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Sullivan Street; thence northerly
along the center line of Sullivan Street for a
distance of 132 feet, more or less, to the point
of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District,
and Sectional District Map 15-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 475 B.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel 2~ Beginning at a point on the center line of McFadden
Avenue located 129.6 feet, more or less, westerly
from that point where the center line of McFadden
Avenue intersects the center line of Sullivan Street,
said point being the northwest corner of Parcel 1
hereinabove described; thence westerly along the
center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of
35 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of
Sullivan Street for a distance of 1~7 feet, more or
less, to the center line of an alley; thence
easterly along the center line of said alley for a
distance of 164.6 feet, more or less, to that point
where said center line intersects the center line
of Sullivan Street; thence northerly along the center
line of Sullivan Street for a distance of 25 feet,
more or less, to the southeasterly corner of
Parcel 1 hereinabove described; thence westerly
along the south line of Parcel 1, hereinabove
described, for a distance of 129.6 feet, more
or less; thence northerly along the westerly line
of Parcel 1, hereinabove described, for a distance
of 132 feet, more or less, to the center line of
McFadden Avenue and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District,
and Sectional District Map 15-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 475 B.
SECTION 3: That Ordinance NS~700 is hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of February, 1964.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 20th day of January, 1964, and was again con-
sidered by said Coucil at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of
February, !964, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted
by said Council by the following vote, to wit:
