SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 491
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT ~P 7-5-9

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 491, filed by
WALTER L. WEST for a change in District classification from the
R-3 District to the P District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Washington
Avenue intersects the center line of French Street; thence
easterly along the center line of Washington Avenue for a
distance of 264.5 feet, more or less; thence northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of French
Street for a distance of 170 feet, more or less; thence
westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Washington Avenue for a distance of 264.5 feet,
more or less, to the center line of French Street; thence
southerly along the center line of French Street for a
distance of 170 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Washington Avenue and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the P District, and
Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with E~hibit AA 491 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of April, 1964.
