SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 502
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 17-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 502 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 502, filed by
LAWRENCE A. WHITESIDES for a change in District classification from
the A-1 District to the C-5 District, and said Commission has
recommended approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of First Street
located 1024.0 feet, more or less, westerly from a point
33 feet north of an angle point in the easterly boundary
line of the City of Santa Aha; thence southerly along a
line approximately parallel to said easterly boundary line
for a distance of 253.7 feet, more or less, to the Santa
Ana Freeway right of way; thence northwesterly along the
Santa Ana Freeway right of way for a distance of 121.3 feet,
more or less; thence northeasterly along the Santa Ana
Freeway right of way for a distance of 69.6 feet, more or
less, to the southerly line of First Street; thence northerly
for a distance of 33 feet, more or less, to the center line
of First Street; thence easterly along the center line of
First Street for a distance of 20.7 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the C-5 District,
and Sectional District Map 17-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 502 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
frc~ and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1964.
