SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 503
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 23-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 503 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 503, filed by
SHOSUKE NITTA for a change in District classification from the R-1
District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recomunended
approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Edinger
Avenue intersects the center line of Raitt Street; thence
westerly along the center line of Edinger Avenue for a
distance of 192 feet, more or less, to that point where
said center line intersects the center line of an alley;
thence northerly along the center line of said alley for
a distance of 202 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Edinger Avenue for a distance of 200.8 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Raitt Street; thence southerly along
the center line of Raitt Street for a distance of 203 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Edinger Avenue and the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-2 District,
and Sectional District Map 23-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 503 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1964.
