SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 504
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 1-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 504 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application NO. 504, filed by
VERNON L. VALENTINE for a change in District classification from the
R-3 District to the C-2 District, and said Com~mission has recommended
approval of said reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOBS ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Edgewood
Road intersects the center line of Main Street; thence
northerly along the center line of Main Street for a distance
of 338.5 feet, more or less; thence westerly for a distance
of 283 feet, more or less, to the true point of beginning;
thence northwesterly along a line approximately parallel to
the northerly right of way line of the Santa Ana Freeway for
a distance of 96.1 feet, more or less; thence northeasterly
for a distance of 62.8 feet, more or less; thence southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Main Street for a distance of 114.8 feet, more or less, to
the trUe~point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-2 District,
and Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 504 A.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of July, 1964.
