HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-741ORDINANCE NS-741 REPEALING CHAPTER 7 OF ARTICLE III OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE (REGISTRATION OF FELONS) WHEREAS, recent decisions have held unconstitutional many ordinances throughout the State of California which were similar to or identical with the Santa Ana Municipal Code sections herein repealed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Chapter 7 of Article III (Registration of Felons) is hereby repealed. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 8th day of September, 1964.
