DESCRIPTION CONTAINED IN ORDINANCE NS-737
RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
WHEREAS, heretofore a change in District classification from
the A-1 District to the C-5 District was adopted by Ordinance NS-737
on July 20, 1964; and
WHEREAS, thereafter it was discovered that the parcel as
shown on Sectional District Map 17-5-9 (Exhibit AA 502 A) was in
error in the dimensions set forth on said map and that the same
errors were contained in the description of said property set forth
in said Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance NS-737 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of First Street
located 1024.0 feet, more or less, westerly from a point
33 feet north of an angle point in the easterly boundary
line of the City of Santa Ana; thence southerly along a
line approximately parallel to said easterly boundary line
for a distance of 253.7 feet, more or less, to the Santa
Ana Freeway right of way; thence northwesterly along the
Santa Ana Freeway right of way for a distance of 121.3 feet,
more or less; thence northerly continuing along the Santa
Aha Freeway right of way for a distance of 69.2 feet, more
or less; thence northeasterly along the Santa Aha Freeway
right of way for a distance of 69.6 feet, more or less, to
the southerly line of First Street; thence northerly for a
distance of 33 feet, more or less, to the center line of
First Street; thence easterly along the center line of First
Street for a distance of 20.7 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the C-5 District,
and Sectional District Map 17-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 502 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from
and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 8th day~f September, 1964.
