OF A SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON OCTOBER 13,
1964, FOR THE QUESTION OF ANNEXATION OF
TERRITORY UNDER NAME OF "SANTA CLARA AND
TUSTIN N. W. ANNEXATION"
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana adopted
Resolution 64-117 on August 3, 1964, providing the details for an
election on the question of annexing certain territory to the City
of Santa Ana as provided for in the Annexation Act of 1913.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That a Special Municipal Election is hereby
called and shall be held on October 13, 1964, in the territory
known as "SANTA CLARA AND TUSTIN N. W. ANNEXATION". All details
of holding said election shall be as set forth in Resolution 64-117.
SECTION 2: That the proposition to be placed on the ballot
and submitted to the voters residing within the territory shall
be as follows:
Shall "SANTA CLARA AND TUSTIN N. W.
ANNEXATION" be annexed to the City
of Santa Ana, California?
: YES : :
: NO : :
Any voter desiring to vote in favor of annexing said territory
should mark a cross in the box immediately to the right of the
word "YES"; any voter desiring to vote against said annexation
should mark a cross immediately to the right of the word "NO".
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance, being an ordinance calling
and otherwise relating to an election, shall take effect upon the
date of its publication.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 8th day of September, 1964.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana, California; that the foregoing
Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 17th day of August, 1964, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 8th day
of September, 1964, and at said meeting was regularly passed and
adopted by the following vote, to wit:
