ON ~vlENDMENT APPLICATION 519, FILED BY DO~ALD D.
RANDALL, AND ~4ENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
17-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA ~19 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 519, filed by DONALD
D. RANDALL on behalf of the RANDALL PUBLISHING CO~A~, INC., for a
change in District classification from the R-1 District to the
District, and said Commission has recommended approval of said
reclassification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Chestnut
Avenue intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence
easterly along t'he center line of Chestnut Avenue for a
distance of 165 feet, more or less; thence southerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand
Avenue for a distance of 296.3 feet, more or less; thence
westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Chestnut Avenue for a distance of 165 feet, more
or less, to the center line of Grand Avenue; thence northerly
along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of
296.3 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the M-1 District,
and Sectional District Map 17-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 519 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1964.
