ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 615 AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 4-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 615 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 615, filed by JOHN T.
KIMBRELL for a change in District classification from the R-1 District
to the R-4 District, and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5825,
has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with
Exhibit AA 615 A; and
WHEREA~, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does
now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare
require the following amendment, and that the use under the new
classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the city of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Tustin Avenue
intersects the center line of Santa Clara Avenue; thence easterly
along the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of
330 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 660 feet, more or less; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of 990.3 feet, more or less,
to the easterly boundary line of the City of Santa Aha; thence
southerly along the easterly boundary line of the city of Santa
Aha for a distance of 574.6 feet, more or less; thence southwesterly
along the northerly right of way line of the Newport Freeway for a
distance of 564.8 feet, more or less; thence southerly for a
distance of 50 feet, more or less, to the center line of Santa
Clara Avenue; thence westerly along the center line of Santa Clara
Avenue for a distance of 427.9 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-4 District, and
Sectional District Map 4-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 615 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the city of Santa Aha
at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of J~nuary~968~.

I, DORIS M. BROWN, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the
Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of said city held
on the 18th day of December, 1967, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of January, 1968,
and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by the following
vote, to wit:
