ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 616AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 15-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 616 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 616, filed by MARY
MARGARET JOHNSON for a change in District classification from the
R-2 District to the C-2 District, and said Commission, by its
Resolution 5828, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification
in accordance with Exhibit AA 616 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does
now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare
require the following amendment, and that the use under the new
classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Fairview Street
intersects the center line of First Street; thence easterly along
the center line of First Street for a distance of 203 feet, more
or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing easterly
along the center line of First Street for a distance of 75 feet,
more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Fairview Street for a distance of 155 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of First Street for a distance of 75 feet, more
or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Fairview Street for a distance of 155 feet,
more or less, to the center line of First Street and the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the I{-2 District to the C-2 District, and
Sectional District Map 15-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 616 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day/of Ja~Tg~.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Ordinance
was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 2nd day of January, 1968, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of January, 1968,
and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by the following
vote, to wit:
