ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 618 FILED BY HUMPHRIES
INVESTMENTS, INC. AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 16-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 618 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 618, filed by
HUMPHRIES INVESTMENTS, INC. for a change in District classification
from the A-1 and C-2 Districts to the C-2 District, and said Commission
found that the development standards and requirements of the C-4
District would be more applicable and advisable for commercial
development of the subject property and by its Resolution 5830 has
recommended approval in accordance with Exhibit AA 618 B reclassifying
said property to the C-4 District; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
area;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa A/la,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of McFadden Avenue
intersects the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence westerly
along the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 660 feet,
more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 500 feet,
more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 660 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence
southerly along the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance
of 500 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 and C-2 Districts to the C-4
District, and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 618 B.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30)
days from and after the date of its adoption.

on the 5th day of February, 1968, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of February, 1968,
and at said meeting was passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit:
