DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS ON AMENDMENT APPLI-
CATION NO. 620, FILED BY LESTER W. AND
FLORENCE J. ROHRS, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 31-4-9 (EXHIBIT AA 620 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 620, filed by
LESTER W. and FLORENCE J. ROHRS, proposing to prezone and establish
District classifications from the County of Orange A-1 District to
the City of Santa Ana R-1 and C-5 Districts, and said Commission has
recommended, by its Resolution No. 5833, that said prezoning and
classification be approved as shown on Exhibit AA 620 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classifications will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
PARCEL 1:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Fairhaven
Avenue intersects the center line of Glassell Avenue, said
point being also on the existing boundary line of the City
of Santa Aha; thence westerly along the center line of
Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 150.63 feet, more or
less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Glassell Avenue and the existing
boundary line of the City of Santa Ana for a distance of
172.63 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fairhaven
Avenue for a distance of 150.63 feet, more or less, to the
existing boundary line of the City of Santa Ana; thence
southerly along said existing boundary line for a distance
of 172.63 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby pre-zoned and classified from the County of Orange A-1
District to the City of Santa Ana R-1 District, and Sectional District
Map 31-4-9 is hereby amended to show said prezoning and classification
in accordance with Exhibit AA 620 A.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
PARCEL 2:
Beginning at that point on the westerly boundary line of
the City of Santa Ana, said point being located 172.63 feet,
more or less, northerly from that point where the center
line of Glassell Avenue intersects the center line of
Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly along the northerly
boundary line of Parcel 1, hereinabove described, for a
distance of 150.63 feet, more or less; thence southerly
along the westerly boundary line of said Parcel 1 for a
distance of 172.63 feet, more or less, to the center line
of Fairhaven Avenue; thence westerly along the center line
of Fairhaven Avenue for a distance of 134.37 feet, more or
less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Glassell Avenue for a distance of

267 feet, more or less; thence easterly along the line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fairhaven
Avenue for a distance of 285 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Glassell Avenue and the existing boundary
line of the City of Santa Ana; thence southerly along the
center line of Glassell Avenue and along the Santa Ana
City boundary line for a distance of 94.37 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby prezoned and classified from the County of Orange A-1
District to the City of Santa Aha C-5 District, and Sectional District
Map 31-4-9 is hereby amended to show said prezoning and classification
in accordance with Exhibit AA 620 A.
SECTION 3: That this prezoning and classification shall
become effective whensoever in the future the hereinabove described
property is annexed to the City of Santa Aha, or thirty days from
and after the date of the adoption of this Ordinance, whichever shall
be the later date.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of April, 1968.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Ordinance
was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 18th day of March, 1968, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of April, 1968,
and at said meeting was passed and adopted by the following vote,
to wit:
