ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 622 FIT.RD BY MOBILE OIL
COP~PORATION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
30-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 622 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 622 filed by MOBIL
OIL CORPORATION for a change in District classification from the
County of Orange M-1 District to the City of Santa Ana M-1 District,
and said Commission, by its Resolution 5836, recommended APPROVAL of
said prezoning on April 22, 1968; and
WHEREAS, on April 15, 1968, the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana adopted Resolution 68-55 declaring the annexation of the
subject property to the City of Santa Ana and to the A-1 District,
which annexation was filed by the Secretary of State of California
on April 22, 1968; and
W~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana regularly
held a public hearing on the reclassification of the subject property
from the City of Santa Ana A-1 District to the City of Santa Ana M-1
District on published notice as required by law, and does now find
that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare require
the following amendment, and that the uses under the new classification
will not be detrimental to the surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: ~hat the real property in the city of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point on the center line of Dyer Road located
470 feet, more or less, easterly of the easterly boundary line
of the Southern Pacific Railroad right of way; thence northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the easterly boundary line
of the Southern Pacific Railroad right of way for a distance of
201.93 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Dyer Road for a distance of
297.63 feet, more or less; thence southeasterly for a distance of
30 feet, more or less, to the center line of Grand Avenue; thence
southwesterly along the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance
of 235.25 feet, more or less, to that point where said center line
intersects the center line of Dyer Road; thence westerly along
the center line of Dyer Road for a distance of 175 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the M-1 District, and
Sectional District Map 30-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 622 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of June, 1968.

of said City held on the 3rd day of June, 1968, and was again
considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 17th
day of June, 1968, and at said meeting was passed and adopted by
the following vote, to wit:
