ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 525, FILED BY
J. L. GARNER, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
16-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 525 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning COmmission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 525, filed by
J. L. GARNER for a change in District classification from the R-1
District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 525 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Bolsa Avenue
located 254 feet, more or less, westerly from that point
where the center line of Bolsa Avenue intersects the
center line of Andres Place; thence westerly along the
center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 261 feet,
more or less; thence southerly from the center line of
Bolsa Avenue and along the easterly right of way line of
the Orange County Flood Control District Channel for a
distance of 200 feet, more or less; thence easterly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Bolsa
Avenue for a distance of 261 feet, more or less; thence
northerly for a distance of 200 feet, more or less,to the
center line of Bolsa Avenue and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-2 District, and
Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said re-
classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 525 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of January, 1965.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 21st day of December, 1964, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 4th day
of January, 1955, and was at said meeting regularly passed and
adopted by the following vote, to wit:
