ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 528 FILED BY JOSEPH M.
AND ROSE MARIE EANNARENOAND ~ENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 528 A-REVISED)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 528, filed by
JOSEPH M. and ROSE MARIE EANNARENO for a change in District classifi-
cation from the R-3 District to the P and C-3 Districts, and said
Commission has recommended approval of said reclassification in
accordance with Exhibit AA 528-A-Revised; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel
1: Beginning at that point where the center line of Seventh
Street intersects the center line of Spurgeon Street; thence
Westerly along the center line of Seventh Street for a distance
of 130 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Spurgeon Street
for a distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventh Street for a distance of 130 feet, more or less, to
the center line of Spurgeon Street; thence northerly along
the center line of Spurgeon Street for a distance of 150 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the P District,
Sectional District Map ~-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 528 A-Revised.
and
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Parcel
2: Beginning at a point on the center line of Spurgeon
Street located 150 feet, more or less, southerly from that
point where the center line of Spurgeon Street intersects the
center line of Seventh Street, said point being the southeast
corner of Parcel 1, hereinabove described; thence westerly
along the southerly boundary of said Parcel 1 for a distance
of 130 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Spurgeon Street
for a distance of 30 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Seventh Street for a distance of 130 feet, more or less, to
the center line of Spurgeon Street; thence northerly along
the center line of Spurgeon Street for a distance of 30 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-3 District, and
Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 528 A-Revised.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.

Aha at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of January, 1965.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City held on the 4th day of January, 1965, and was again con-
sidered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 18th day
of January, 1965, and was at said meeting regularly passed and
adopted by the following vote, to wit:
