WtqEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 529, filed b~,
THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE A~D TELEGRAPH COMPAI~f for a change in District
classification from the R-4 DISTRICT to the t~-1 DISTRICT and said
Commission has reco~aended APPROVAL of said reclassification in
accordance with Exhibit AA 529 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, %~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Talbert Avenue
located 390 feet, more or less, westerly from the center
line of Bristol Street; thence northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street
for a distance of 400.1 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Talbert Avenue for a distance of 390 feet, more or less, to
the center line of Bristol Street; thence southerly along
the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 400.1
feet, more or less; thence westerly along the center line
of Talbert Avenue for a distance of 390 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the M-1 District.
The southeast corner of said property is presently zoned M-l; however,
to insure that the entire area will be included within the same zoning
classification and no portion left out of the description, the whole
area is described. Sectional District Map 26-5-10 is hereby amended
to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 529 A.
SECTION 2: 'l~at this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1965.

Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 1st day
of February, 1965, and was again considered by said Council at its
regular meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1965, and was at
said meeting regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
