CONKLIN, AND ~iENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 532, filed by GRACE
W. CONKLIN for a change in District classification from the R-1
District to the R-lB District, and said Commission has recommended
approval of said change in accordance with E~hibit AA 532A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Santa Clara Avenue
located 514.1 feet, more or less, easterly from the center
line of Grand Avenue in the City of Santa Ana; thence easterly
along the center line of Santa Clara Avenue for a distance of
120 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue for a
distance of 339.7 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Santa Clara
Avenue for a distance of 120 feet, more or less; thence
northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 339.7 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Santa Clara Avenue and the point
of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District,
and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 532 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of February, 1965.
