DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION ON AFiENDMENTAPPLICATION
NO. 537, INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION,
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 28-5-10

WPIEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 537, initiated by
said Commission to prezone to the City of Santa Aha M-1 District
certain land not as yet annexed to the City of Santa Ana and presently
situated in the County of Orange 100-M 1-30000 District, and said
Commission has recommended approval of said prezoning; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the County of Orange,
State of California, described as:
Beginning at an angle point in the boundary line of the City of
Santa Aha which lies on the east boundary of Harbor Boulevard
and is 330 feet, more or less, north of an angle point in the
City of Santa Aha boundary line at the northeast corner of Harbor
Boulevard and Talbert Avenue; thence westerly along the Santa
Ana City Limits for a distance of 1360 feet, more or less; thence
northerly and continuing along the Santa Ana City Limits for a
distance of 990 feet, more or less; thence westerly and continuing
along the Santa Ana City Limits for a distance of 960 feet, more
or less, to the easterly right of way line of the Santa Aha River
Channel; thence northeasterly along the easterly right of way
line of the Santa Aha River Channel for a distance of 4346 feet,
more or less, to its intersection with the easterly boundary of
Harbor Boulevard, said point of intersection being an angle
point in the Santa Ana City Limits; thence southeasterly along
the Santa Aha City Limits for a distance of 706.9 feet, more or
less; thence southerly and continuing along the Santa Ana City
Limits for a distance of 4119 feet, more or less, to the point
of beginning,
is hereby prezoned as being in the City of Santa Ana M-1 District,
and Sectional District Map 28-5-10 is hereby amended to show the
establishment of this classification and prezoning in accordance
with Exhibit AA 537 A.
SECTION 2: This prezoning and classification shall become
effective whensoever in the future the hereinabove described property
is annexed to the City of Santa Aha or thirty days from and after the
date of the adoption of this Ordinance, whichever shall be the later
date.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of April, 1965.
