ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 541 FILED BY HY-WEL
ENTERPRISES AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
9-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 541 C)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 541, filed by
HY-WEL ENTERPRISES for a change in District classification from the
R-1 District to the C-2 District, and said Commission has recommended
that said reclassification be from the R-1 District to the C-5 District
in accordance with Exhibit 541 C to afford the adjacent residential
properties protection from the expansion of commercially zoned
property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of La Bonita Street
located 220 feet, more or less, southerly from that point where
said center line intersects the center line of Westminster Avenue;
thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Westminster Avenue for a distance of 330 feet, more or
less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of La Bonita Street for a distance of 120 feet, more
or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Westminster Avenue for a distance of 255 feet,
more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of La Bonita Street for a distance of 75 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Westminster Avenue for a distance of 75 feet,
more or less, to the center line of La Bonita Street; thence
northerly along the center line of La Bonita Street for a distance
of 45 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the C-5 District, and
Sectional District Map 9-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 541 C.
SECTION 2: 'i~nat this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.

introduced to said City Council at a regular meeting held on the 19th
day of April, 1965, and was again consiaered by said Council at its
regular meeting held on the 3rd day of May, 1965, and was at said meet-
ing regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
