ON A~ENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 542 FILED BY
DR. RICHARD F. KAMMERMAN AND DR. RAYMOND F. JONES
AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT lv~P 7-5-9

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 542, filed by
DR. RICHARD F. KAM/~ERMAN and DR. RAYMOND F. JONES for a change in
District classification from the R-3 District to the P District, and
said Commission has recommended approval of said reclassification in
accordance with Exhibit 542 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Washington Avenue
located 455.5 feet, more or less, easterly from that point where
the center line of Washington Avenue intersects the center line
of French Street as it exists north of Washington Avenue; thence
northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of French Street for a distance of 275 feet, more or less; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Fourteenth Street for a distance of 48.2 feet, more or less; thence
southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
French Street for a distance of 75 feet, more or less; thence
easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Fourteenth Street for a distance of 94.3 feet, more or less, to the
center line of an unnamed street; thence southerly along the center
line of said unnamed street for a distance of 200 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Washington Avenue; thence westerly
along the center line of Washington Avenue for a distance of
143.5 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the P District, and
Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 542 A.
SECTION 2: 'l~nat this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
