HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-804ORDINANCE NS-804 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS ON AMENDi~IENT APPLICATION NO. 546 FILED BY THE IRVINE CO~ANY Ai~D AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP IRS-9 (~XHIBIT AA 546 A) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 546, filed by THE IRVINE COMPANY, for a change in District classifications from the A-1 and M-1 Districts to the LM District, and said Commission has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification; and WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That that real property located southerly of Warner Avenue, between the Newport Freeway and Red Hill Avenue, in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, a description of which is attached hereto and by reference made a part of this Ordinance, is hereby reclassified from the A-1 and M-1 Districts to the ~ District, and Sectional District Map IRS-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 546 A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
