HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-819ORDINANCE NS-819 CORRECTING AN ERROR IN THE DESCRIPTION OF ORDINANCE NS-813 WHEREAS, on June 21, 1965, Ordinance NS-813 changing District classification was adopted and the distance shown in one course was 56feet, when the same should have been 16 feet. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the change in District classification on Amendment Application No. 554 was intended to and does affect that real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at a point on the center line of Fourth Street located 174 feet, more or less, easterly from that point where said center line intersects the center line of Grand Avenue; thence easterly along the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 453.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of McClay Street as McClay Street exists north of Fourth Street; thence northerly along the center line of McClay Street for a distance of 161.2 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 604 feet, more or less, to the center line of Eastside Avenue; thence northerly along the center line of Eastside Avenue for a distance of 29.3 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 110 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Eastside Avenue for a distance of 27.3 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 210 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Eastside avenue for a distance of 33.8 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximatelyparallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 23 feet, more or less; thence northerly for a distance of 24 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fifth Street; thence easterly along the center line of Fifth Street for a distance of 270 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Lyon Street for a distance of 150 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 402.9 feet, more or less, to the westerly right of way line of the Santa Ana Freeway; thence southeasterly along the westerly right of way line of the Santa Ana Freeway for a distance of 357.7 feet, more or less; thence southerly continuing along said Freeway right of way line for a distance of 105.7 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fourth Street; thence easterly along the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 47.4 feet, more or less, to the center line of Mabury Street; thence southerly along the center line of Mabury Street for a distance of 234 feet, more or less, to the center line of an alley; thence westerly along the center line of said alley for a distance of 957.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of Wright Street; thence northerly along the center line of Wright Street for a distance of 16 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 144.5 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Wright Street for a distance of 28 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 368.1 feet, more or less;;thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Wright Street for a distance of 85.5 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 118.2 feet, more or less, to the center line of Linwood Avenue; thence northerly -1- along the center line of Linwood Avenue for a distance of 5.7 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 127.3 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of McClay Street for a distance of 91.2 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 255.1 feet, more or less, to the center line of McClay Street; thence northerly along the center line of McClay Street for a distance of 25 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 307.2 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Grand Avenue for a distance of 165 feet, more or less, to the center line of Fourth Street and the point of beginning, and is reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the LP District, and Sectional District Maps 7-5-9 and 8-5-9 are hereby amended to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 554 B. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
