ON AHEND~SNT APPLICATION EO. 560, FILED BY VELMONT
AND STELLA JENKINS, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 1-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 560 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning C~ission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 560, filed by
VELMONT P. JENKINS and STE~LAM. JENKINS for a c~a~ge in District
classification from the R-1 District to the R-lB District, and said
C~umission has rec~endedAPPROV~L in accordance withExhibit 560-A~
and
W~AS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detr/mental to the surround-
ing area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOEs ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as=
Beginning at a point on the easterly right of way line Of Baker
Street located 145 feet, more or less, northerly from the center
line of Seventeenth Street~ thence northerly along the easterly
right of way line of Baker Street for a distance of 50 feet,
more or less~ thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 160 feet,
more or less~ thence southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Baker Street for a dis~nce of 40 feet, more
or less~ thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 50 feet,
more or less~ thence southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Baker Street for a distance of 10 feet, more
or less~ thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Seventeenth Street for a distance of 110 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the R-lB District,
and Sectional District Map 1-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance withExhibitAA 560 A.
SECTION 2= That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Aha at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of September, 1965.
