ON AMENDMENTAFPLICATION NO. 571, INITIATED BY
THE PLANNING COMMISSION, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL
DISTRICT MAP 10-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 571 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Con~nission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 571, initiated by
said Planning Commission for a change in District classification
frc~ the R-2 District to the R-2B District, and said Commission, by
it Resolution No. 5760, has rec~,ended APPROVAL of said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit 571 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL 1:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Hazard Avenue
located 210 feet, more or less, easterly frc~ that point
where the said center line intersects the center line of
Harbor Boulevard; thence easterly along the center line
of Hazard Avenue for a distance of 202 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Figueroa Street; thence southerly
along the center line of Figueroa Street for a distance
of 1156 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fifth Street
for a distance of 125 feet, more or less; thence northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 100 feet, more or less;
thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Fifth Street for a distance of 77 feet,
more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a
distance of 844 feet, more or less; thence westerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of Hazard
Avenue for a distance of 20 feet, more or less; thence
northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 48 feet, more or
less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Hazard Avenue for a distance of 20 fee~
more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a
distance of 164 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.
PARCEL 2:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Figueroa Street
located 165 feet, more or less, southerly of the center line
of Fifth Street; thence southerly along the center line of
Figueroa Street for a distance of 996.5 feet, more or less,
to the center line of an alley; thence westerly along the
center line of said alley for a distance of 165 feet, more
or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of
837.5 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fifth Street
for a distance of 90 feet, more or less; thence northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 159 feet, more or less;
thence easterly along a lane approximately parallel to the
center lane of Fifth Street for a distance of 75 feet, more
or less, to the center line of Figueroa Street and the
point of beginning,

be and the same is hereby reclassified fr~n the R-2 District to the
R-2B District, and Sectional District Map 10-5-10 is hereby amended
to show said reclassification in accordance with ExhibitAA 571 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of February, 1966.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 17th day of January, 1966, and was again considered by said
Council at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of February, 1966,
and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by the following
vote, to wit:
