ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 573 INITIATED BY THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 573 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 573, initiated by
the Planning Commission for a change in District classification from
the C-2 District to the M-1 District, and said Commission has recom-
mended approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit
573 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public 'necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding area.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of First Street located
180 feet, more or less, westerly from that point where said center
line intersects the center line of Hathaway Street; thence northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Hathaway
Street for a distance of 158 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of First
Street for a distance of 75 feet, more or less; thence southerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Hathaway
Street for a distance of 158 feet, more or less, to the center line
of First Street; thence westerly along the center line of First
Street for a distance of 75 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the C-2 District to the M-1 District and
Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 573 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take 'effect thirty days
frown and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of March, 1966.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held

at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of March, 1966, and at said
meeting was regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
