ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 585, FILED BY CHLOE M.
STATON, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 16-5-10

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 585, filed by
CHLOE M. STATON, for a change in District classifications from the
C-1 and R-2 Districts to the C-2 District, and said Commission has
recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance with
Exhibit 585 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use under
the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State Of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Newhope Street
intersects the center line of Bolsa Avenue; thence easterly along
the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 170 feet, more
or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Newhope Street for a distance of 290.4 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bolsa Avenue for a distance of 170 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Newhope Street; thence
northerly along the center line of Newhope Street for a distance
of 290.4 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the C-1 and R-2 Districts to the C~2
District, and Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to
show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 585 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the l~th day of May, 1966.
