ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 591, FILED BY CLARENCE
C. HUMPHRIES, AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
16-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 591 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning C~ission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 591, filed by
CLARENCE C. HUMPHRIES for a change in District classification fr~n
the A-1 District to the R-2 District, and said Conmnission has
recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with
Exhibit 591-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of McFadden Avenue, said
point being located 660 feet, more or less, westerly fro~ that
point where said center line of McFadden Avenue intersects the
center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence westerly along the center
line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 330 feet, more or less;
thence northerly along along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 660 feet, more
or less; thence easterly along a line approx/mately parallel to
the center line of McFadden Avenue for a distance of 330 feet,
more or less; thence southerly along a line spproximately parallel
to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 660 feet,
more or less, to the center line of McFadden Avenue and the point
of beginning,
is hereby reclassified fro~ the A-i District to the R-2 District, and
Sectional District Map 16-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 591 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of August, 1966.

Ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 18th day of July, 1966, and was again considered by said Council
at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of August, 1966, and at said
meeting was regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
