SECTION 9271 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE
TO AMEND THE ESTABLISHED FUTURE RIGHT OF ~AY
LINE OF WASHINGTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning
Commission has recommended that the established future right of way
line along the north side of Washington Avenue be amended; and
WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council, on notice as
required by law, said Council determined that said established
right of way line should be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES O~DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION t: That Sub-section (b) of Section 9271 of the Santa
Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to read in words and figures as
follows:
(b) Washington Avenue from Flower Street to Grand Avenue
(1) On the North side, 30 feet from the center line between
Flower and Bush Streets, except the area extending from
the center line of Broadway to a point 183 feet easterly.
(2) On the North side, 35 feet from the center line, from
Bush Street to the Santa Ana Freeway.
(3) On the South side, 40 feet from center line, between
Flower and Bush Streets.
(4) On the South side, 35 feet from center line, between
Bush Street and Grand Avenue.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 1st day of August, 1966.
