CATION ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 595,
INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION, AND
AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 11-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 595 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Conunission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 595, initiated by
the Planning Conunission for a change in district classification from
the R-2 District to the C-5, and said Commission by its Resolution
5796 has recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance
with Exhibit AA 595 A, and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround-
ing property; ·
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Eighth Street
located 157 feet, more or less, westerly from that point
where said center line intersects the center line of
Bristol Street; thence southerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Bristol Street for
a distance of 114.2 feet, more or less; thence westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Eighth Street for a distance of 25.4 feet, more or
less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of
114.2 feet, more or less, to the center line of Eighth
Street; thence easterly along the center line of Eighth
Street for a distance of 25.4 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-5 District and
Sectional District Map 11-5-10 is hereby amended to show said re-
classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 595 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of March, 1967.

going Ordinance was regularly introduced to said Council at its
regular meeting held on the 20th day of February, 1967, and was
again considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on
the 6th day of March, 1967, and at said meeting was regularly
passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
