CATION ON AMENDMENTAPPLICATION NO. 597
FILED BY THE BOARD OF EDUCATION, AND AMENDING
SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 25-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 597 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning C~L,ission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 597, filed by
the Board of Education for a change in district classification from
the M-1 District to the C-2, and said Commission by its Resolution
5800 has recommended approval of said reclassification in accordance
with Exhibit AA 597 A, and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround-
ing property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point on the center line of Bristol Street
where said center line intersects the center line of
Segerstrom Avenue; thence northerly along the center line
of Bristol Street for a distance of 210.9 feet, more or
less, to the center line of San Lorenzo Avenue; thence east-
erly along the center line of San Lorenzo Avenue for a dis-
tance of 510.2 feet, more or less; thence southeasterly for
a distance of 42 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Segerstrom Avenue; thence southwesterly along the center
line of Segerstrom Avenue for a distance of 568.8 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Bristol Street and the
point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the C-2 District, and
Sectional District Map 25-5-10 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 597 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of March, 1967.

going Ordinance was regularly introduced to said Council at its
regular meeting held on the 20th day of February, 1967, and was
again considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on
the 6th day of March, 1967, and at said meeting was regularly
passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
