ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 601 INITIATED BY THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 26-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 60lA)
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~ission has given noticeand duly
held a public hearing on amendment Application No. 601, initiated
by the PLANNING COMMISSION, for a change in District classification
from the A-1 District to the R-1 District, and said Conumission, by
its Resolution 5804 has recommended approval of said reclassifi-
cation in accordance with Exhibit AA 601 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience,
and general welfare require the following amendment and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFOREm T~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point where the center line of Adams
Street intersects the center line of Raitt Street;
thence northeasterly along the center line of Raitt
Street for a distance of 133.8 feet, more or less;
thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Adams Street for a distance
of 1352.6 feet, more or less; thence northerly along
a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Salta Street for a distance of 430 feet, more or less;
thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Adams Street for a distance of
394.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of Salta
Street; thence northerly along the center line of
Salta Street for a distance of 678.7 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Flora Street; thence
northwesterly for a distance of 218.4 feet, more or
less, to the center line of Warner Avenue; thence
northeasterly along the center line of Warner Avenue
for a distance of 329.1 feet, more or less; thence
southerly for a distance of 59 feet, more or less,
to the westerly right of way line of the Orange County
Flood Control District channel; thence southwesterly
along the westerly right of way line of said Flood
Control channel for a distance of 231.1 feet, more
or less; thence southwesterly along the westerly right
of way line of said flood control channel for a dis-
thance of 252.5 feet, more or less; thence southerly
continuing along the westerly right of way line of the
Orange County Flood Control District channel for a
distance of 1,153.4 feet, more or less; thence westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Adams Street for a distance of 654.6 feet, more or
less; thence northerly for a distance of 131.8 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Adams Street; thence
westerly along the center line of Adams Street for a
distance of 1,256.9 feet, more or less, to the center
line of Raitt Street and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the R-1 District
and Sectional District Map 26-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 601 A.
SECTION 2= That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
fr~n and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of May, 1967.

going Ordinance was introduced at a re~alar meeting of the City
Council held on the 1st day of May, 1967, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of May,
1967, and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by the
following vote, to wit:
