THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE OR ADD
PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS ON FAIRHAVEN AVENUE,
FAIRVIEW STREET, GREENVILLE STREET, HALLADAY
STREET, MEMORY LANE, SEVENTEENTH STREET, TUSTIN
AVEnue'., AND WARNER AVENUE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3280 of Part 8, Chapter 2, Article
III of the Santa Ana Municipal Code shall be and is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Section 3280. Prima Facie Speed Limits Established
The Department of Public Works, on the basis of an engineering
and traffic survey, has determined that in some instances speeds
greater than those established by Section 23352 of the Vehicle
Code would be reasonable and safe upon certain streets in the City
of Santa Aha and would facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular
traffic, and in other instances that the prima facie speed limit
should be reduced. Pursuant to the provisions of Sections 22357
and 22358 of the Vehicle Code prima facie speed limits are estab-
lished for the following streets or parts of streets within the
City and the Director of Public Works shall cause signs to be
erected giving notice thereof:

SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.

at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of August, 1967.
