AMENDMENT APPLICATION 608 FILED BY CONTINEATfAL BAKING
COMPANY AIqD AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 14-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 608 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 608, filed by
Continental Baking Company for a change in District classification
from the C-1 and R-1.Districts to C-2 District and said Commission
by its Resolution 5811 has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification
in accordance with EXHIBIT AA 608 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience,
and general welfare require the following amendment, and that the
use under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ARIA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of First
Street intersects the center line of Pacific Avenue; thence
southerly along the center line of Pacific Avenue for a
distance of 330 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Walnut Street; thence westerly along the center line of
Walnut Street for a distance of 212.4 feet, more or less;
thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Pacific Avenue for a distance of 330
feet, more or less, to the center line of First Street;
thence easterly along the center line of First Street for
a distance of 213.8 feet, more or less, to the POINT OF
BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the C-1 and R-1 Districts to the C-2
District and Sectional District Map 14-5-10 is hereby amended to show
said reclassification in accordance with EXHIBIT AA 608 A.
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of September, 1967.
