ON AMENDMENTAPPLICATION 612 FILED BY SOUTHERN
SERVICES COMPANY AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 7-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 612 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 612, filed by
SOUTHERN SERVICES COMPANY, for a change in District classification
from the R-3 District to the C-2 District, and said Commission, by
its Resolution No. 5818, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 612 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendment, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Eastwood Avenue located
164 feet, more or less, northerly from that point where said center
line intersects the center line of Fourth Street; thence northerly
along the center line of Eastwood Avenue for a distance of 48 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 155 feet,
more or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Eastwood Avenue for a distance of 48 feet,
more or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Fourth Street for a distance of 155 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Eastwood Avenue and the point
of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-3 District to the C-2 District, and
Sectional District Map 7-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 612 A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.

and at said meeting was regularly passed and adopted by the following
vote, to wit:
