ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 613 INITIATED BY THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTriCT
MAP 12-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 613 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 613, initiated by
the Planning Commission for a change in District classification from
R-1 and R-2 Districts to the P District, and said Commission, by its
Resolution 5820, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification
in accordance with Exhibit AA 613 B; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does
now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare
require the following amendment, and that the use under the new
classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THE~EFORE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL 1:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Eighth Street
intersects the center line of Bristol Street; theRce westerly
along the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 163.5
feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Bristol Street for a distance of 203.1 feet, more or less; thence
westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Eighth Street for a distance of 294.2 feet, more or less; thence
northerly for a distance of 2 feet, more or less; thence westerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Eighth
Street for a distance of 108 feet, more or less; thence southerly
for a distance of 1.1 feet; thence westerly along a line approxi-
mately parallel to the center line of Eighth Street for a distance
of 126.4 feet, more or less; thence southerly for a distance of
27.0 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 58.8
feet, more or less; thence northerly for a distance of 25.5 feet,

along the center line of Pacific Avenue for a distance of 32 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 166.6 feet,
more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Pacific Avenue for a distance of 110.4 feet,
more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 120 feet,

less; thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the

PARCEL 2:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Eighth Street
intersects the center line of Baker Street; thence northerly along
the center line of Baker Street for a distance of 157.3 feet, more
or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 197.4 feet,
more or less; thence northerly for a distance of 15.7 feet, more
or less; thence easterly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 60 feet, more
or less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Baker Street for a distance of 303 feet, more
or less; thence westerly for a distance of 3.9 feet, more or less;
thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Baker Street for a distance of 132 feet, more or less;
thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Eighth Street for a distance of 113.5 feet, more or less;
thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Baker Street for a distance of 120 feet, more or less;
thence westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Eighth Street for a distance of 140 feet, more or less,to
the center line of Baker Street; thence northerly for a distance
of 17 feet, more or less; thence westerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of
153 feet, more or less; thence northerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Baker Street for a distance of
125 feet, more or less, to the center line of Eighth Street; thence
easterly for a distance of 153 feet, more or less, to the c~nter
line of Baker Street and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 and R-2 Districts to the P Distric~i
and Sectional District Map 12-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 613 B.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of December~l~9~r~
