ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 575 FILED BY W. F.
CRODDY AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
28-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 575 A)
WHEP~EAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 575, filed by
W. F. CRODDY for a change in District classification from the
M-1 District to the M-2 District, and said Commission, by its
Resolution 5822, has reconm~ended APPROVAL of said reclassification
in accordance with Exhibit AA 575 A - Revised; and
WHEP~EAS, The City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law and does
now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general welfare
require the following amendment, and that the use under the new
classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Aha,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Harbor Boulevard
intersects the City boundary at Talbert Avenue; thence westerly
along the City boundary for a distance of 1,360 feet, more or less,
to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence northerly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Harbor Boulevard for
a distance of 1,320 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of Talbert Avenue
for a distance of 490.2 feet, more or less; thence northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of Harbor
Boulevard for a distance of 864.4 feet, more or less; thence
westerly along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Talbert Avenue for a distance of 945.2 feet, more or less, to
the easterly bank of the Santa Ana River; thence southwesterly
along the easterly bank of the Santa Ana River for a distance of
1,748.2 feet, more or less, to that point where said easterly
bank intersects the center line of Newhope Street; thence
southerly along the center line of Newhope Street for a distance
of 663.5 feet, more or less, to the city boundary; thence
easterly along the City boundary for a distance of 1,320.1 feet,
more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING,
is hereby reclassified from the M-1 District to the M-2 District,
and Sectional District Map 28-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 575 A - Revised.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of December, 1967.

considered by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 4th
