ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 635 INITIATED BY THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 12-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 635 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 635, initiated by
the Planning Commission for a change in District classification from
the P District to the C-4 District, and said Commission has recom-
mended, by its Resolution No. 5865, that said reclassification be
approved as shown on Exhibit AA 635 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
notice and does now find that public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require the following amendmtne and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the
surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
sEcTIoN 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of california, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Baker Street
intersects the center line of Eighth Street; thence Southerly
along the center line of Baker Street for a distance of 125 feet,
more or less; thence Westerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of 153 feet,
more or less; thence Northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Baker Street for a distance of 125 feet,
more or less, to the center line of Eighth Street; thence
easterly along the center line of Eighth Street for a distance of
153 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the P District to the C-4 District, and
Sectional District Map 12-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 635' A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
