HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-0954ORDINANCE NS-954 AMENDING THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING PART 7 OF CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE IX T~EP~EOF KELATING TO FUTURE RIGHT OF WAY LINES AND SPECIFIC PLANS FOR STREET ALIGNMENT WHEP. EAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning Commission has recommended the establishment and re-establishment of future right of way lines and specific plans for street align- ment; and W~EREAS, after hearing before the City Council, on notice as required by law, said Council determined that said future right of way lines and said specific plans for street alignment should be established and re-established and that the Santa Ana Municipal Code be amended to show such changes; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Sections 9271.1 through 9271.29 of Part 7, Chapter 2, Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code are hereby amended to read as follows, and that Sections 9271.30 through 9271.33 and Sections9271.60 and 9271.61 are hereby added to said Part 7 to read in words and figures, as follows: SECTION 9271.1. Alton Street. (a) On both sides, forty (40) feet from survey center line, between Main Street and Halladay Street. SECTION 9271.2. Bristol Street. (a) On both sides, fifty (50) feet from construction center line, between Sunflower Avenue and the Garden Grove Freeway. SECTION 9271.3. Broadway. The following Specific Plans for Street Alignment are hereby established and re-established with survey center lines and/or construction center lines and with right of way lines, between which lines no person shall erect, move in, or structurally alter any building or structure; excepting, however, nothing herein is intended to prohibit the construction or erection of a hedge, masonry wall or fence, provided said hedge, masonry wall or fence meets with the provisions of the District within which it fs~tbcated and all other provisions of this Code. SECTION 9271.61. Specific Plan for Street Alignment No. Flower Street, between Pine Street and Seventeenth Street. 15. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after the date of its adoption.
