ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 642 FILED BY SANTA ANA
PROPERTIES AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 8-5-9
(EXHIBIT AA 642-B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application No. 642, filed by
Santa Ana Properties proposing to reclassify from the R-1 District
to the P District the property hereinbelow described; and said
Commission, by its Resolution No. 5876 has recommended DENIAL of
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 642-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by law and
does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general
welfare require that said property be reclassified from the R-1
District in accordance with Exhibit AA 642-B, and that the use
under the new classification will not be detrimental to the surround-
ing property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of california, described as:
Beginning at a point on the center line of Fourth Street
located 1458.4 feet, more or less, westerly from that
point where said center line intersects the center line
of Tustin Avenue; thence westerly along the center line
of Fourth Street for a distance of 491.9 feet, more or
less; thence northerly along a line approximately parallel
to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of
916.04 feet, more or less; thence easterly along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fourth
Street for a distance of 491.00 feet, more or less; thence
southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 913.54
feet, more or less, to the center line of Fourth Street
and the point of beginning.
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the LP District, and
Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said reclassi-
fication in accordance with Exhibit AA 642-B.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the city Council of the city of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of Ma y, 1969.

the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Ordinance
was introduced at a regular meeting of the city Council held on the
21st day of April, 1969, and was again considered by said Council at
its regular meeting held on the 5th day of May, 1969, and was at said
meeting passed and adopted by the following vote, to wit:
