MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SECTIONS 41-738 AND
4 41-739 RELATING TO SPECIFIC PLANS FOR STREET
ALIGNMENT
WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning
Commission has recommended the adoption of Specific Plans of
Street Alignment No. 24 and No. 37 involving portions of Ross
Street and of Chestnut Avenue; and
WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council, on notice
as required by law, said Council determined that said street
alignment plans should be adopted and that the Santa Ana Municipal
Code be amended to show such change;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 41-738 and Section 41-739
hereby added to Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal code to
read in words and figures as follows:

Section 41-738.
Specific Plan of Street Alignment No. 24.
Chestnut Avenue from Grand Avenue to a point 1,050
feet west of Grand Avenue.
Section 41-739. Specific Plan of Street Alignment No. 37.
Ross Street from civic Center Drive West to a point
530 feet north of civic Center Drive West.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the city of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of March, 1970.
