ORDINANCE NS-1017 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 656 FILED BY MARIE R.
SCHILDMEYER AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
6-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 656-A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 656 filed by
MARIE R. SCHILDMEYER proposing to reclassify from the 60-A1-7200
District to the C-5 District the property hereinbelow described;
and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5918, has recommended
APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit
AA 656-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by law
and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require that said property be reclassified from
the 60-A1-7200 District the the C-5 District in accordance with
Exhibit AA 656-A, and that the new classification will not be
detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
CDunty of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at a point on the east city limits of the
City of Santa Ana, said point being 664 feet, more or
less, south of the center line of Fairhaven Avenue;
thence south, along the east City Limits for a distance
of 760 feet, more or less; thence West along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fairhaven
Avenue for a distance of 355 feet, more or less, to the
center line of Glassell Street; thence northwesterly
along the center line of Glassell Street for a distance
of 775 feet, more or less; thence easterly, along a line
approximately parallel to the center line of Fairhaven
Avenue for a distance of 465.6 feet, more or less,
is hereby reclassified from the 60-A1-7200 District to the C-5
District, and Sectional District Map 6-5-9 is hereby amended to
show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 656-A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of May, 1970.
