ORDINANCE NS-1034 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 673 FILED BY NATHAN K.
NELSON AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP 9-5-10
(EXHIBIT AA 673 B)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a.public hearing on Amendment Application 673 filed by
NATHAN K. NELSON proposing to reclassify from the R-2 District
to the C-2 District the property hereinbelow described; and said
Commission, by its Resolution 5940, has recommended APPROVAL of
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 673 B; and
WI~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law and
does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general
welfare require that said property be reclassified from the R-2
District to the C-2 District and that the new classification will
not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, TI~EREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Harbor Boulevard
intersects the center line of Hazard Avenue; thence westerly
along the center line of Hazard Avenue for a distance of 264
feet, more or less; thence northerly for a distance of 237.5 feet,
more or less, to the true point of beginning; thence continuing
northerly for a distance of 240 feet, more or less; thence
westerly for a distance of 86 feet, more or less; thence
continuing northerly for a distance of 182.9 feet, more or less;
thence westerly for a distance of 78.5 feet, more or less;
thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Harbor Boulevard for a distance of 422.9 feet, more or
less; thence easterly for a distance of 164.5 feet, more or less,
to the true point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-2 District to the C-2 District,
Sectional District Map 9-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 673 B.
and
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of November, 1970.
