ORDINANCE NS-1043 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON AMESIDMENT APPLICATION 670 FILED BY W. L. AND
G. J. GORZEMAN AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAPS
17-5-9 AND 20-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 670-A)
W~EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 670 filed by W. L.
GORZEMAN and G. J. GORZEMAN proposing to reclassify from the
A-1 District to the M-1 District the property hereinbelow described;
and said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5928, has recommended
APPRO~-AL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit
AA 670-A; and
W~EREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by law
and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require that said property be reclassified from
the A-1 District to the M-1 District in accordance with Exhibit
AA 670-A, and that the new classification will not be detrimental
to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the center line of Ritchie
Street intersects the North City Boundary Line of the
city of Santa Ana; thence easterly along said north city
limits for a distance of 787.2 feet, more or less, to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing easterly
for a distance of 367.8 feet, more or less; thence
southerly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Ritchie Street for a distance of 1241.8
feet, more or less, to the northeasterly boundary line
of the Orange County Flood Control Channel; thence
northwesterly along said easterly boundary line for a
distance of 474.3 feet, more or less; thence northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line
of Ritchie Street for a distance of 935.5 feet, more or
less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING
is hereby reclassified from the A-1 District to the M-1 District,
and Sectional District Maps l7-5-9 and 20-5-9 are hereby amended
to show said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 670-A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of October, 1970.

Ordinance was introduced to said Council at its regular meeting
held on the 21st day of September, 1970, and was again considered
by said Council at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of
October, 1970, and at said meeting was passed and adopted by the
following vote, to wit:
