ORDINANCE NS-1045 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 671 FILED BY FIRST WESTERN
BANK & TRUST COMPANY AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 35-5-10 (EXHIBIT AA 671 A)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and duly
held a public hearing on Amendment Application 671 filed by FIRST
WESTERN BANK & TRUST COMPANY proposing to reclassify from the R-1
District to the CR District the property hereinbelow described; and
said Commission, by its Resolution No. 5933, has recommended
APPROVAL of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA
671 A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by law and
does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general
welfare require that said property be reclassified from the R-1
District to the CR District and that the new classification will
not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at that point where the westerly line of Bristol Street
intersects the southwesterly right of way line of the Orange
County Flood Control District channel; thence northwesterly
along said right of way line for a distance of 193.71 feet, more
or less; thence westerly for a distance of 808.82 feet, more or
less; thence southerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Bristol Street for a distance of 2062.87 feet,
more or less, to the southerly boundary line of the City of
Santa Ana; thence easterly along said City boundary for a
distance of 991.86 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Bristol Street; thence northerly along the center line of Bristol
Street for a distance of 1895.73 feet, more or less; thence
westerly for a distance of 60 feet to the westerly line of
Bristol Street and the point of beginning,
is hereby reclassified from the R-1 District to the CR District, and
Sectional District Map 35-5-10 is hereby amended to show said re-
classification.
SECTIONL2.~ .~Thati.~his Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the I9th day of October, 1970.
