ORDINAi~CE NS-1050 CHANGING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
ON AMEnDMEnT APPLICATION ~68 FILED BY O. K. EARL
CORPORATION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
8-5-9 (EXHIBIT AA 668 A)
W~EREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 668 filed
by O. K. EARL CORPORATION proposing to reclassify from R 1 Dis-
trict to LP District and from R 1 District to C-5 District the
property hereinbelow described; and said Commission, by its
Resolution 5932, has recommended APPROVAL of said reclassification
in accordance with Exhibit AA 668 A; and
WHEREAS, the city Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by law
and does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and
general welfare require that said property be reclassified from
the R 1 District to the LP District and from the R 1 District to
the C 5 District and that the new classification will not be
detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL A
Beginning at that point where the center line of Fourth
Street intersects the center line of Tustin Avenue; thence
westerly along the center line of Fourth Street for a
distance of 975.2 feet, more or less, to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING; thence continuing westerly for a distance
of 959.8 feet, more or less; thence southerly along a line
approximatelyparallel to the center line of Mabury Street
for a distance of 375 feet, more or less; thence easterly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of
Fourth Street for a distance of 959.8 feet, more or less;
thence northerly along a line approximately parallel to
the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance of 375 feet,
more or less, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
is hereby reclassified from the R 1 District to the L P District,
and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said re-
classification in accordance with Exhibit AA 668 A.
SECTION 2: That the real property in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL B
Beginning at the southeast corner of Parcel A, herein des-
cribed; thence westerly along the southerly line of Parcel A,
above described; thence southerly along a line approximately
parallel to the center line of Tustin Avenue for a distance
of 547.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of First
Street; thence easterly along the center line of First Street
for a distance of 960.5 feet, more or less; thence northerly
along a line approximately parallel to the center line of

Tustin Avenue for a distance of 545 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning;
is hereby reclassified from the R 1 District to the C 5 District,
and Sectional District Map 8-5-9 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit AA 668 A.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the city of
Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~]st day of
