CODE BY ADDING SECTION 9-191.1, OVERTIME FOR FIRE
DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 9-191.1 is hereby added to the
Santa Ana Municipal Code to read as follows:
Sec. 9-191.1.
Overtime for Fire Department Personnel -
Constant Manninq Proqram.
An employee of the Fire Department who responds on a
voluntary basis to an active duty assignment during a
scheduled off-duty period as the result of the Department's
manpower complement being below the specified minimum
requirement for a particular shift shall earn paid overtime
compensation at his normal salary rate on a straight-time
basis of computation.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of April, 1971.
