ORDINANCE NS-1095 CHANGING ZONING CLASSIFICATION
ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 686 FILED BY THE ROBERT H.
GRANT CORPORATION AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT
MAP 25-5-10 (EXHIBIT A.A. 686-A.)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has'given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 686, filed
by the Robert H. Grant Corporation proposing to reclassify from
C R District to R 1 District the property hereinbelow described;
and said Commission, by its Resolution 5968, has recommended
approval of said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit
A.A. 686-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing
on said reclassification on published notice as required by
law, and does now find that the public necessity, convenience
and general welfare require that said property be reclassified
from the C R District to R 1 District, and that the new classi-
fication will not be detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa
Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines
of Columbine Avenue and Sycamore Street; thence
easterly along the center line of Columbine Avenue
for a distance 130 feet more or less; thence nor-
therly along a line approximately parallel to the
center line of Sycamore Street for a distance of
976.05 feet more or less; thence westerly along a
line approximately parallel to the center line of
Columbine Avenue for a distance of 85.8 feet more
or less; thence south 51"16'58" west for an approx-
imate distance of 56 feet more or less to the inter-
section of the center lines of Alton Avenue and
Sycamore Street; thence south along the center line
of Sycamore Street for a distance of 946.05 feet
more or less to the point of beginning.
is hereby reclassified from the C R District to the R 1 District
and Sectional District Map 25-5-10 is hereby amended to show said
reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 686-A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty
days from and after the date of its adoption.
