HomeMy WebLinkAboutNS-1101ORDINANCE NS-1101 AMENDING THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO SECTION 10-2 RELATING TO FINGERPRINT FEES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1: The Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 10-2 to read as follows: Section 10-2. Fingerprint fees Every person requesting that his fingerprints be processed by the City of Santa Ana shall accompany such request with a fee of $5.00. This fee shall not be required of the following persons: 1. Applicants for employment with the City of Santa Ana. 2. Applicants who are amnesia victims and are attempting to establish their identity. Applicants who are complying with any of the following statutes: California Penal Code Sections 290, 1026, 1203.1, 1203.45, 1370, 11113 and California Health and Safety Code Section 11850. SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect thirty days from the date of its adoption. SECTION 3: That the Clerk of the Council shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be publ~hed in some daily newspaper printed and published in the City of Santa ana.
