ON AMENDMENT APPLICATION 693 FILED BY CAL-PENN
LAND COMPANY AND AMENDING SECTIONAL DISTRICT MAP
17-5-10 (EXHIBIT 693-A.)
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has given notice of and
duly held a public hearing on Amendment Application 693, filed
by Cal-Penn Land Company proposing to rezone from the R 1 District
to the R 2 District the property hereinbelow described; and said
Commission, by its Resolution 5976, has recommended approval of
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 693-A; and
WHEREAS, the City Council regularly held a public hearing on
said reclassification on published notice as required by law, and
does now find that the public necessity, convenience, and general
welfare require that said property be rezoned from the R 1 District
to the R 2 District, and that the new classification will not be
detrimental to the surrounding property;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the real property in the City of Santa Ana,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of
McFadden Avenue and Euclid Street; thence north along
the center line of Euclid Street for a distance of
462 feet, more or less, to the True Point of Beginning;
thence continuing north along the center line of Euclid
Street for a distance of 198 feet, more or less; thence
westerly along the easterly prolongation of the south
boundary line of Tract No. 4767 as recorded in Book 175,
Pages 1 and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, for a distance of 540 feet, more or less; thence
south along a line approximately parallel to the center
line of Euclid Street for a distance of 198 feet, more
or less, to the northerly right of way line of Orange
County Flood Control District channel; thence east along
said right of way line for a distance of 540 feet, more
or less, to the center line of Euclid Street and the True
Point of Beginning.
is hereby reclassified from the R 1 District to the R 2 District
and Sectional District Map 17-5-10 is hereby amended to show
said reclassification in accordance with Exhibit A.A. 693-A.
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect thirty days
from and after the date of its adoption.
